Adding to their list of academic honors, sophomore Aaricia Noel-Traissac and junior Maria Pinedo have both earned Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholar honors in an announcement made today by the organization. A total of 1,497 women's collegiate golfers from 412 programs across all divisions were recognized with this prestigious honor.

Due to rain and thunderstorms in the Lincoln area, the second round of the Kaitlyn Erickson Doane Invite could not be completed. Junior Maria Pinedo posted the top Bruin rounds on the day as the Bellevue University women's golf team finished in fourth place at the seven-team Kyle Blaser Invitational being played at the 5,955-yard, par-72 Greens Country Club. The one-day tournament consisted of 36 holes.

The Bruins finished the tournament at 65-over par with team scores of 331 and 310, outdistancing second-place Dakota Wesleyan University by 64 strokes. The 310 total in today’s second round was BU’s top round of the 2023-24 season.

The Bellevue University women's golf team finished in eighth place at the 36-hole, 10-team The Trailblazer being played at the 5,959-yard, par-72 TPC Summerlin Course. The Bruins improved on their opening-round team score by 29 strokes, finishing the day at 45-over par for a 36-hole score of 695 (362-333). 

Ilysia Ibnu shot a 16-over 88 and was the Bruins' top golfer on the day.

The Bellevue University women's golf team opened the spring season at The Trailblazer, a 10-team tournament being played at the 5,898-yard, par-72 Paiute Golf Course. The Bruins currently sit in eighth place after shooting a team score of 74-over par (362).

In a field dominated by NCAA Division II opponents, the Bellevue University women's golf team finished in a tie for 10th place at the 14-team Swan Memorial being played at the 5,996-yard, par-72 Broadlands Golf Course. Bellevue was the only non-NCAA Division II squad in the tournament.
