Pinedo earns NSAA Golfer of the Week accolades

Sophomore Maria Pinedo earned her second North Star Athletic Association Women's Golfer of the Week honor after her performance earlier this week at the Grand View Invitational in Ankeny, Iowa.

Sophomore Maria Pinedo earned her second North Star Athletic Association Women's Golfer of the Week honor after her performance earlier this week at the Grand View Invitational in Ankeny, Iowa. It marked her second weekly honor of the season. 

Pinedo earned runner-up honors at the two-day Grand View Invitational played at 6,141 yard, par-71 Otter Creek Golf Course.  She finished with a total of 155 strokes in the 36-hole tournament. 

Pinedo fired a 7-over 78 on the first day and shot 6-over in the second round to finish the tournament at 13-over-par.

The tournament wrapped up the fall portion of the schedule for the Bruins.
