2021 Season (Junior): Earned first-team all-NSAA, NFCA all-Region III, and NSAA Gold Glove honors ... Led the Bruins with a .375 batting average and 16 home runs while finishing second on the team with 56 RBIs ... Stole a team-high 13 bases on the season ... Committed just two fielding errors in 130 chances ... Finished second in the league in RBIs (56), first in home runs (16), and fourth in slugging percentage (.726) ... Recorded back-to-back games with two home runs against NSAA regular-season champion Valley City State ... In a doubleheader split against VCSU, Egan went 5-for-9 with four home runs and nine RBIs.

Three Bruins represented Bellevue University on the 2021 All-Midlands Softball team as announced by the Omaha World-Herald on July 2. Pitcher Lauren Jurek, third baseman Lauren Russell, and outfielder Maricela Egan landed on the first team. In addition, shortstop Ellie Bliemeister and utility player Emily Rochford garnered honorable mention recognition.
