Bellevue University (Nebraska) junior forward Oumar Sissoko has been named the Continental Athletic Conference (CAC) men's soccer Player of the Year to headline the sport's postseason awards for the 2021 season.
Oumar Sissoko scored the lone goal and the Bellevue defense once again proved impenetrable as the Bruins won their second-straight CAC/A.I.I. Championship, 1-0 over Florida National.
Antonio Capra scored the game’s lone goal to lift the #8 Bellevue past previously unbeaten Viterbo 1-0 on Friday evening in the CAC semifinals.
Oumar Sissoko scored twice, Jack Finocchiaro added a goal, and Harry Wray saved a penalty to lead the Bruins to a 3-0 win Waldorf.
Bellevue saw a penalty saved in the 109th minute and Columbia benefited from a disallowed goal midway through the first half as the Bruins and Cougars played to a scoreless draw.
Toby Millward scored twice and added an assist to lead the Bruin attack to a 6-0 win over Iowa Wesleyan.
