BU picked ninth in Frontier Women’s XC Preseason Poll

HELENA, Mont. — The Bellevue University women's cross country team has been picked to finish ninth in the 2025 Frontier Conference Women's Cross Country Preseason Coaches' Poll, released Tuesday by the conference office
.

Montana Tech, last year's Frontier champion, was chosen as the preseason favorite with eight first-place votes and 97 points. Carroll (Mont.) placed second with two first-place votes and 89 points, while Dakota State (S.D.) was third with 84 points and the remaining first-place vote
.

Bellevue enters its first season in the Frontier Conference after finishing fifth in the North Star Athletic Association in 2024, the program's final year in that league. The Bruins return two letterwinners from last season — Ashley Guatemala-Ortiz and Alicia Rivera Camargo — who will look to pace a young BU roster in 2025.
