KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Three Bellevue University volleyball standouts were recognized as All-Americans by both the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA), as senior outside hitter Eve Fountain, senior right-side hitter Kealy Kiviniemi, and senior middle blocker Savanna Berger all earned national honors for the 2025 season.
Fountain was named a first-team All-American by both organizations, Kiviniemi collected second-team All-America recognition, and Berger was selected to the third team.
Eve Fountain – Senior Outside Hitter, Omaha, Neb.
Fountain's first-team selection marks her third career first-team All-America honor, adding to previous first-team nods in 2021 and 2024. She was also a third-team All-American in 2020. In 2025, Fountain was named to the NAIA National Championship All-Tournament Team and earned Frontier Conference Attacker of the Year, first-team AVCA all-North Region, and first-team all-Frontier Conference honors. She led Bellevue with 372 kills (3.18 per set), 44 service aces, and 447.0 points, ranked second on the team with 370 digs (3.16 per set), and added 52 total blocks. Fountain recorded a team-leading 14 double-doubles, producing double-figure kills in 22 matches and double-figure digs in 19 contests. Her season was highlighted by 23 kills in BU's five-set win over Oklahoma Wesleyan at the NAIA National Championship and 16 kills, 28 digs, and five blocks in a five-set home victory over then-No. 1 Providence. She also recorded five service aces on two occasions against Montana Western. An NAIA Scholar-Athlete, academic all-Frontier Conference honoree, and CSC Academic All-District selection, Fountain concluded her career as Bellevue's all-time leader in kills with 1,917 and ranks sixth in program history in both digs (1,918) and service aces (161).
Kealy Kiviniemi – Senior Right-Side Hitter, Bellevue, Neb.
Kiviniemi's second-team All-America honor follows a first-team selection in 2024 and a third-team nod in 2023, giving her three consecutive All-America seasons. In 2025, she earned first-team AVCA all-North Region and first-team all-Frontier Conference recognition and was named Frontier Conference Attacker of the Week on Nov. 3. Kiviniemi appeared in 119 of BU's 122 sets and ranked second on the team with 360 kills (3.03 per set) on 844 attacks while hitting .338. Her .338 hitting percentage led both Bellevue and the Frontier Conference, and she ranked second in the league in total kills. She added 11 assists, 75 digs, and 77 total blocks (11 solo, 66 block assists) for 404.0 points and finished with 17 matches of double-digit kills, including a season-high 26 kills on 43 swings in a five-set match at Dickinson State on Sept. 6 and 17 kills in the Bruins' five-set home upset of then-No. 1 Providence. An NAIA Scholar-Athlete, academic all-Frontier Conference honoree, and CSC Academic All-District pick, Kiviniemi closed her collegiate career with 1,190 kills, ranking 16th on Bellevue's all-time list.
Savanna Berger – Senior Middle Blocker, Plattsmouth, Neb.
Berger earned third-team All-America recognition after receiving AVCA honorable mention All-America accolades in 2024, giving her back-to-back national honors. She also collected first-team AVCA all-North Region and first-team all-Frontier Conference awards in 2025 and was named an NAIA Scholar-Athlete and academic all-Frontier Conference honoree. Berger appeared in 111 sets and ranked third on the team with 233 kills (2.10 per set) on 506 attacks while hitting .320, the second-best mark on the squad. She led the Bruins with 125 total blocks (38 solo, 87 block assists) and averaged 1.13 blocks per set, with her 38 solo blocks ranking 15th on BU's single-season chart. Berger recorded double-figure kills in seven matches, including 17 kills on .378 hitting in the Bruins' five-set home upset of then-No. 1 Providence and 15 kills on .667 hitting with six blocks in a four-set win at Rocky Mountain on Oct. 17. A CSC Academic All-District honoree, she finished her career ranked 13th in school history with 61 block solos.
The Bruins wrapped up the 2025 season with a 29-5 overall record and a 20-2 mark in Frontier Conference play, finishing second in the conference regular-season standings and as runner-up at the Frontier Conference Tournament. Bellevue advanced to the NAIA National Championship quarterfinals for the fourth time in program history in what marked the Bruins' 18th appearance at the national tournament.
