KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The 2025 NAIA Volleyball National Championship Final Site is set to begin Dec. 3 at the Tyson Events Center, with 24 teams competing in eight pools of three. The top team in each pool will advance to a single-elimination bracket, culminating in the national championship match on Dec. 9.
No. 7-seed Bellevue University (27-4) is slotted into Pool G alongside No. 10 Oklahoma Wesleyan University and No. 18 Bushnell (Ore) University. The Bruins punched their ticket to Sioux City with a 3-0 sweep over Columbia College in Saturday's Opening Round, played at the Bellevue University Fieldhouse.
Pool play will take place over three days, beginning on Wednesday, December 3. The quarterfinals are scheduled for Saturday, December 6, with the semifinals on Monday, December 8, and the national championship match set for Tuesday, December 9.
Bellevue opens its tournament run against Bushnell (21-12) at 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 3. The Bruins will face Oklahoma Wesleyan (26-3) at 6:30 p.m. on Dec. 5. Bellevue has not faced either opponent this season.
Bushnell secured its spot by sweeping MidAmerica Nazarene University in Saturday's Opening Round match in Eugene, Ore. Oklahoma Wesleyan, the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament champions, advanced to the final site with a five-set win over Nelson (Texas) University.
This marks Bellevue's 18th overall appearance in the NAIA National Tournament and its 15th trip to the final site. The Bruins previously reached the final site in 2000, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2012, 2016, 2017, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024.
With Saturday's victory over Columbia, Bellevue improved its all-time record in National Tournament play to 28-31 (.475), including a 12-3 mark in NAIA Opening Round matches.
