Fountain garners Frontier Attacker of the Week honors

HELENA, Mont. -- For the third time this season, senior Eve Fountain (Omaha, Neb.) has been named the Frontier Conference Attacker of the Week for her performances in the eighth-ranked Bruins' three victories last week. 

Fountain recorded her team-leading eighth and ninth double-doubles of the season in wins over (RV) Dakota State University and Dickinson State University. She smashed 37 kills (3.7 kills per set) and collected 33 digs (3.3 digs per set) as the Bellevue went 3-0 on the week. 

Fountain currently ranks third in the league with 3.19 kills per set and seventh with a .308 hitting percentage. 

The Bruins (16-3, 12-2 FC) have won six straight matches. 

BU hits the road this Friday, Oct. 17, for a Frontier Conference showdown at Rocky Mountain College. First serve is set for 7 p.m. (CT) in Billings, Mont.
