The Bellevue University volleyball team earned its fourth-straight trip to the NAIA National Championship Final Site in Sioux City, Iowa, with a 3-0 (25-23, 26-24, 25-17) sweep over John Brown University Saturday night in the NAIA National Championship Opening Round played at Bellevue West High School.

Led by sophomore middle blocker Jacki Apel and senior outside hitter Sierra Athen, the second-seeded Bellevue University volleyball team swept No. 6-seed Presentation College, 3-0 (25-17, 25-22, 25-21) Friday night in the semifinals of the North Star Athletic Association Tournament at the Watertown Civic Arena.
Led by senior Olivia Galas, the Bellevue University volleyball squad landed four members on the all-North Star Athletic Association first team in an announcement made tonight in conjunction with the NSAA Volleyball Tournament. Galas was named both the NSAA Player of the Year and the NSAA Setter of the Year.
