BELLEVUE, Neb. -- The (RV) Bellevue University volleyball team Bellevue recorded their sixth-straight match of hitting .200 or better as the Bruins swept Valley State University 3-0 on Saturday afternoon in a North Star Athletic Association contest at the Gordon Lozier Athletic Center.

Bellevue out-hit Valley City in each set as they accumulated a .228 hitting percentage for the match, their sixth-straight in which they attacked at or above the .200-mark.
Olivia Galas directed the Bruin offense with a 31-assist match as Bellevue out-hit VCSU .228-.037 on the day.
Defensively, BU was led by Madi Evans' 14 digs and BU out-dug the visiting Vikings 50-31.
Paige Benson (8 kills), Katie Juarez (7), and Clarissa Olson (6) combined for 21 of Valley City's 26 kills on the day with Leah Ruter totaling 20 assists.
Hailie Wilds led the way with 10 digs and Clarissa Olson recorded a match-best seven blocks. The one category where Valley City out-performed Bellevue, statistically, was in blocks where they held a 10-7 edge.
Bellevue hosts #5 Dordt College on Tuesday, Oct. 30 at the Gordon Lozier Athletic Center. First serve is scheduled for 7 p.m.
- The win assures Bellevue of at least the No. 2-seed and a first round bye in the upcoming North Star Athletic Association Tournament (Nov. 9-10 at the highest seed).
- Coree Lipovsky's .769 hitting percentage was the best by a Bruin this season (min. 12 attacks).
