BOURBONNAIS, Ill. -- Seventeenth-ranked Olivet Nazarene snapped No. 13 Bellevue University's nine-match winning streak with a 3-0 (32-30, 25-23, 25-15) sweep over the Bruins in the Olivet Nazarene Holiday Inn Express Tournament Friday night.
With the loss, Bellevue fell to 11-2 on the season, while the Tigers improved to 6-6 overall. The Bruins swept Freed-Hardeman 3-0 in their first tournament match Friday afternoon.
Senior Rachel Muller registered her eighth double-double of the season with 13 kills and a match-high 17 digs. Sophomore Kali Schnacker tallied a team-high 14 kills in the loss.
Freshman setter Jordan Broady also collected a double-double with 35 assists and 12 digs, to go along with four kills.
The Bruins will face fifth-ranked Northwestern (Iowa) College at 12 p.m. on Saturday.
