Boone named Defensive POW
For the second week in a row, freshman goal keeper \#Sarah Boone\# earned Midlands Collegiate Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week honors.
Boone did not allow a goal in the Bruins’ two victories last weekend while recording four saves. She has not allowed a goal in more than 267 minutes. Boone has a 6-2 record this season and a 1.01 goals against average.
The Bruins will entertain Midland Lutheran in non-conference action on Thursday, Oct. 1, at Tranquility Park.
