Bruins tied for third after opening day at Dickinson Fall Invite
DICKINSON, N.D. -- Freshman Isabella Gomez paced the Bellevue University women's golf team on Monday, as the Bruins sit tied for third after the opening round of the Dickinson State Fall Invitational, being played at the 5,749-yard, par-72 Heart River Golf Course.
Bellevue posted a team score of 318 (+30), tied with Carroll (Mont.) in the six-team field. Rocky Mountain leads at 295 (+7), followed by Montana Tech at 300 (+12).
Gomez is tied for 8th in the 39-player field after an opening-round 77 (+5), highlighted by 12 pars and a birdie.
