BU earns WGCA All-Scholar Team GPA Award
The 2022-23 Bellevue University women's golf team was one of 10 NAIA schools to earn the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-Scholar Team GPA Award announced today by the organization. The Bruins posted the eighth-best team GPA in the nation.
CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. -- The 2022-23 Bellevue University women's golf team was one of 10 NAIA schools to earn the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-Scholar Team GPA Award announced today by the organization. The Bruins posted the eighth-best team GPA in the nation.
The Women's Golf Coaches Association All-Scholar Team GPA Awards recognize the women's collegiate golf programs with the highest collective average team GPA which includes all of the team's student-athletes for the 2022-23 season. The Bruins' 3.657 team GPA ranked eighth in the NAIA. The University of Pikeville led all NAIA schools with a 3.833 team GPA.
Earlier this month, the Bruins had three individuals, Tylah Saifoloi, Maria Pinedo, and Aaricia Noel-Traissac, recognized by the WGCA as All-American Scholars.
The 2022-23 Bruins captured the North Star Athletic Association Tournament title, advancing to the NAIA National Tournament for the ninth time in school history, finishing 21st overall.
