Saifoloi named NSAA Golfer of the Week
Junior Tylah Saifoloi was named the North Star Athletic Association's Women's Golfer of the Week for her performance last week in the Susie Maxwell Berning Classic in Oklahoma City.
MADISON, S.D. -- Junior Tylah Saifoloi was named the North Star Athletic Association's Women's Golfer of the Week for her performance last week in the Susie Maxwell Berning Classic in Oklahoma City. It marked the second time in her career that she has won the weekly honor.
Saifoloi was the top overall finisher for the Bruins in the Susie Maxwell Berning Classic after shooting rounds of 4-over 76 and 5-over 77. Her 9-over 36-hole total put her in a tie for 20th place in the 83-player field.
She helped BU finish in sixth place in the 12-team field.
Saifoloi recorded five birdies in the tournament.
The Bruins will next compete in the North Star Athletic Association Championships on April 25-26 at the Wedgewood Cove Golf Club in Albert Lea, Minn.
