Her score of 71 was the lowest round of the season for the Bruins.

Similar to the Bruin men's golf season, the Bellevue University women's golf squad saw its 2019-20 campaign cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Unlike the men, the BU women did manage to get one spring competition under their belt before seeing their season suspended.

Freshman Jirattiphon Phongthanachalitkun has been named the North Star Athletic Association Women's Golfer of the Week for her performance in the Sydney Cox Invitational held earlier this week in Oklahoma City, Okla.

Led by senior Madison Brooks, the Bellevue University women's golf team is currently in third place in the 13-team Sydney Cox Invitational being played at the 6,005-yard par-72 Lincoln Park Golf Club.

Led by senior Madison Brooks, the Bellevue University women's golf team recorded the top three places and four of the top five spots en route to its first title of the 2019-20 season. BU took home the championship of the six-team Bent Tree Intercollegiate Classic being played at the 5,805-yard, par-72 Bent Tree Golf Club.
