Rain brings early end to Midwest Spring Fling

Hutchinson, Kan. -- The final round of the Midwest Spring Fling was canceled, it was announced earlier today.

As a result of weather the tournament was halted after the first round and will not be made up.

Due to this BU's Wendy Monfort will share the tournament title with Embry-Riddle's Trae Jones. Additionally, Bellevue will record a second place finish in the event.

The Bruins return to the course on Monday-Tuesday, Apr. 10-11 when they compete in the Oklahoma City Spring Classic.
