Weather suspends second round at NAIA Women's Golf Championships

POOLER, Ga. -- For the second time in three days, rain and lightning has suspended play at the NAIA Women's Golf National Championship being played at the 6,010-yard, par-72 Savannah Quarters Country Club.
The Bruins, who were tied for 15th entering the day, were not able to start play in Thursday's second round.
Play will resume on Friday at 7 a.m. central time with the goal of having the field complete 36 holes.
Six players completed play today, led by Emily Singletary of SCAD Savannah, who carded a career-best two-over-par, 74 for the round.
