Softball places 11 on Academic All-Conference team
HELENA, Mont. -- Eleven Bellevue University softball student-athletes have earned Frontier Conference Academic All-Conference honors, the league office announced today.
Bellevue's honorees include:
- Lindsey Dressman, Sophomore, Education
- Kaitlyn Fisher, Sophomore, Sport Management and Accounting
- Abby Dworak, Junior, Health Science
- Mariah Unverzagt, Junior, Health & Human Performance Pre-Professional
- Breanne McMurtry, Junior, Sport Management and Criminal Justice
- Laila Fiscus, Junior, Biology
- Leslie Egan, Senior, Business Administration
- Marguerite Brown, Junior, Kinesiology
- Emma Crisman, Senior, Health Science and Health & Human Performance Pre-Professional
- Miranda Garcia, Senior, Health Science
- Savannah Short, Senior, Business Administration
To qualify for the honor, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore in academic standing and maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.25 or higher.
The Bruins finished the regular season with a 21-27 overall record and a 10-16 mark in the Frontier Conference.
Up Next: The Bruins (21-27/10-16 Frontier Conference) enter the Frontier Conference Tournament as the No. 6 seed and will meet third-seeded Valley City State University in a first-round matchup at 6:30 p.m. (CT) on Thursday, April 30. The tournament is being played April 30-May 3 at the Sanford Sports Complex in Dickinson, N.D.
