Valley City State University swept Bellevue University Thursday in North Star Athletic Association softball action at the Lied Activity Center Softball Field, winning by scores of 2-1 and 11-1 in five innings.
Junior All-American Erin Sharpe tossed a two-hit shutout in the opener and blasted three home runs and drove in 11 total runs to lead the Bellevue University softball team to a doubleheader sweep at College of St. Mary Tuesday in non-conference action at the CSM Softball Field.
