Neumann named MCAC Player of the Week

POINT LOOKOUT, Mo. -- Bellevue University sophomore Amanda Neumann has been named the Midlands Collegiate Athletic Conference softball Player of the Week for the week ending March 20.
A native of Papillion, Neb., Neumann went 7-for-12 (.583) at the plate last week with three runs scored, a home run and four RBIs in six games. In addition to her strong performance at the plate, she picked up two victories as a pitcher for the Bruins last week with 13 strikeouts in 15 innings pitched.
Bellevue is 6-11 on the season and will play a doubleheader against Northwestern (Iowa) College at Hall of Fame Fields on Tuesday, March 22 at 5:00 p.m.
