Baxter named MCAC Defensive Player of the Week
POINT LOOKOUT, Mo. -- Bellevue University goalkeeper Luke Baxter has been named this week's Midlands Collegiate Athletic Conference's men's soccer Defensive Player of the Week for the week ending on Oct. 30.
Baxter, a native of Lincolnshire, England, recorded seven saves in Bellevue's 0-0 double-overtime draw at Oklahoma Wesleyan University last week.
The Bruins posted a 3-13-2 overall record and finished second in the MCAC with a 3-0-2 league mark.
