Senior Paulo Araujo (Santa Ana, Calif.) highlighted the Bruins' selections on the all-North Star Athletic Association basketball squads announced today in conjunction with the NSAA Men's Basketball Tournament being played this weekend at the Watertown Civic Arena.

Justin Motley pulled down a career-high 16 rebounds in the victory.

Despite shooting a season-low 33.3 percent from the field, the Bellevue University men's basketball team battled to a 54-46 victory over visiting Presentation College Saturday night in North Star Athletic Association action at the Gordon Lozier Athletic Center. 

Taylor Pomeroy led the Bruins with 17 points and six rebounds.
MSU escapes with 75-72 overtime win over Bruins

In a game that featured 12 ties and nine lead changes and neither team leading by more than eight points, Mayville State University battled back from a late seven-point deficit to record a 75-72 overtime victory over the Bellevue University men's basketball team Friday night in North Star Athletic Association action at the Gordon Lozier Athletic Center. 

Martis Johnson hit 3-of-7 from behind the arc, leading BU with 12 points.

Led by Martis Johnson, the Bellevue University men's basketball team earned a series sweep over Waldorf University, downing the Warriors, 59-48, Saturday night in North Star Athletic Association action at the Gordon Lozier Athletic Center. 

Taylor Pomeroy recorded 18 points, three assists, and two rebounds in the victory.

BELLEVUE, Neb. -- Taylor Pomeroy, Paulo Araujo, and Justin Motley combined for 50 points to lead the Bellevue University men's basketball team to a 73-57 victory over Viterbo University Friday night in North Star Athletic Association action at the Gordon Lozier Athletic Center.

For the second-straight week and the third time this season, senior Paulo Araujo has been named the North Star Athletic Association Men's Basketball Player of the Week for his performances in the Bruins' road split at Presentation College and Mayville State University last weekend. 

Vinny Belcaster scored 22 points in the loss.
