BELLEVUE, Neb. -- Bellevue University baseball coach Duane Monlux announced today the signing of Cade Herrmann (Omaha, Neb./Western Illinois) to a letter of intent to continue his academic and athletic careers at BU beginning in the fall.
Herrmann, a 6-0, 200-pound right-hander, joins the Bruins from Western Illinois University in Macomb, Ill. after beginning his career at Wayne State College in Wayne, Neb.

With over 100 innings in his collegiate career, Hermann has most excelled playing summer ball for the Okotoks Dawgs in the WCBL. Over the past two summers in Okotoks, Herrmann owns a 1.41 ERA, 1.05 WHIP, and struck out 60 batters in 44.2 innings of relief work across 48 appearances.
Coach Monlux on Herrmann:

When his command is on, he is a very good pitcher."
