Six Bruins from the 2022 NAIA World Series participant Bellevue University baseball team picked up postseason honors from the Omaha World-Herald announced today. Senior pitcher Elijah Johnson was recognized as the honorary captain of the team. Bruins joining Johnson on the first team included: catcher Brenton Davis, shortstop Alec Ackerman, outfielder Conner Barnett, outfielder Kanta Kobayashi, and pitcher Blake Crippen.
Elijah Johnson earned first-team honors while junior shortstop Alec Ackerman and junior center fielder Kanta Kobayashi were both named to the second team.
