Bruins to host V-Hawks in NSAA series this weekend
Bellevue will host Viterbo for a four-game series this weekend at Brown Park (Saturday, 5 p.m.) and Roddy Field (Sunday, 1 p.m.)
BELLEVUE, Neb. -- Bellevue University baseball coach Duane Monlux announced today that this weekend's series against Viterbo University has been moved from La Crosse, Wis. and will now be hosted by the Bruins.
The change comes as a result of last week's winter storm that travelled through the upper Midwest. Viterbo will be the home team in all four games.
On Saturday BU and Viterbo will square off at 5 p.m. for a double-header at John Stella Field at Brown Park. Sunday's double-header will be taking place at Roddy Field on the campus of Bellevue East High School beginning at 1 p.m.
BU (25-19) enters the weekend 10-4 in NSAA play and just two games back of first place Mayville State. Viterbo sits at 10-31 overall but the V-Hawks own a solid 7-6 mark in league play.
