BELLEVUE, Neb. -- Bellevue University and Dakota State University, in a joint statement, have announced that this weekend's North Star Athletic Association baseball series between the two schools will now be hosted by Bellevue.
A number of factors played into the decision to move the series from being hosted by Dakota State.
The Bruins and Trojans will open the four-game set with a double-header on Friday, Apr. 7 at 1 p.m. at Westgate Field in Omaha. The series will conclude with a twin-bill on Saturday at noon at Roddy Field in Bellevue.
The Bruins are currently riding a 21-game win streak and sit atop the North Star standings with a perfect 8-0 record in league play. Overall the Bruins are 28-6 on the season and next play on Wednesday, Apr. 5 at 4 p.m. against Midland University at Westgate Field.
