Bio
Alyson VanderPol enters her first season as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Bellevue University, beginning in May of 2024.
VanderPol, a native of Mitchell, S.D., graduated from Dakota Wesleyan University with a Master's in Athletic Training in 2021. During her internship, she worked with the women's swimming team at the University of Sioux Falls. VanderPol also played college softball at Dakota Wesleyan University from 2017-20.
Before coming to Bellevue, VanderPol served as an athletic trainer at Dakota State University from the fall of 2021 to the spring of 2024, where she worked with the volleyball, men's basketball, and softball teams. She is a licensed athletic trainer in Nebraska and is certified in RockPods flossing and cupping, as well as instrumented soft tissue mobilization.
