Bruins picked to finish second in MCAC Preseason Poll
POINT LOOKOUT, MO. - The Bellevue University men's soccer team was picked to finish second in the 2012 MCAC Men's Soccer Preseason Poll released Wednesday (Aug. 22).
POINT LOOKOUT, MO. - The Bellevue University men's soccer team was picked to finish second in the 2012 MCAC Men's Soccer Preseason Poll released Wednesday (Aug. 22).
Oklahoma Wesleyan University topped the poll. The Eagles finished 2011 with a 14-5-2 overall record (5-0-1 MCAC), capturing the MCAC Regular Season and Tournament Titles. Oklahoma Wesleyan is ranked No. 23 in the NAIA Preseason National Top 25 after advancing to the NAIA National Tournament Opening Round in 2011.
Bellevue earned the No. 2 position after going 3-13-3 (3-0-2 MCAC) in 2011. Southwestern Christian University, which posted an 5-10-4 mark last season (2-2-1 MCAC), is picked third in the 2012 preseason MCAC rankings.
Rounding out the rankings are Central Baptist College (4), Central Christian College (5), York College (6) and Waldorf College (7).
