2012-13 MCAC Commissioner's Cup Standings
POINT LOOKOUT, MO. -- Thanks to five MCAC regular season
championships, Bellevue University has won the 2012-13 MCAC
Commissioner's Cup. It marks the seventh-straight year the
Bruins have claimed the Commissioner's Cup.
The Commissioner's Cup tracks each member institution's
finish in the MCAC's 12 sports, awarding 10 points for a first
place finish in the regular season standings, nine points for
second, etc. Each school's point total is then divided by the
number of sports it participates in to determine its final score in
the Commissioner's Cup standings.
Bellevue's women's soccer, volleyball, men's basketball
(shared), men's golf, and baseball squads all won MCAC
Championships in 2012-13, while the Bruin men's soccer and softball
teams posted second-place conference finishes.
Bellevue also claimed the MCAC Men's and Women's
All-Sports titles.
Oklahoma Wesleyan placed second in the overall standings,
highlighted by league titles in men's soccer and women's
basketball.
